Harry Potter: Wizards Unite brings first Fan Festival to Indianapolis this summer!

Niantic

Witches and Wizards, grab your wands and get ready for a summer of fun!

In partnership with WB Games, this Labor Day weekend (August 31 - September 1) we will be hosting the first Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Fan Festival at White River State Park in Indianapolis, Indiana. While we’re not quite ready to share the complete details just yet, this is one event you won't want to miss. Keep an eye out on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram or at WizardsUnite.com/fanfestival to stay up-to-date on the latest as event details are revealed.

Real-world events are truly special moments for Niantic games. They encourage adventurers of all kinds to come together, explore new cities, get a bit of exercise and make some new friends along the way. Tens of thousands of fans celebrate together, experiencing the magic of real-world AR games in new and innovative ways.

Just two weeks ago, we kicked off the summer with a blast, hosting the first Pokémon GO Fest of 2019. Over 60,000 Trainers were in attendance at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois, with over 280,000 Trainers playing in the surrounding city. Passionate fans from around the world got together to catch Pokémon, hatch Eggs, trade with one another, embark on Special Research, and were even surprised with the release of the Mythical Pokémon, Jirachi. This is just the beginning, as we bring the Pokémon GO Fest experience to Dortmund, Germany, next week, and Yokohama, Japan, in August.

Millions of Ingress Agents and Pokémon GO Trainers have come together over the years to immerse themselves in these unique live events. There really is no better way to experience real-world AR games, and we can’t wait to create something special for all you witches and wizards out there later this summer.

See you soon!
