Niantic Games Arrive to Samsung's Galaxy Store

Niantic

Trainers, Wizards, and Agents!

There are now even more ways to access Niantic’s real-world games! We’re excited to announce that we’ve started to bring our games to the Samsung Galaxy Apps Store. After our collaboration with Samsung at MWC19 on the first ever deployment of multiplayer-AR technology over edge computing, this marks the second step in a broader partnership to create a seamless AR experience leveraging Niantic's Real World Platform and Samsung's devices smart sensors to bring augmented reality closer to the real world.

Starting today, players with Samsung Galaxy mobile devices will be able to download Pokémon GO on the Galaxy Apps Store here. Once downloaded, Trainers will be able to log-in into their account or sign up through Google, Facebook or the Pokémon Trainer Club to start catching Pokémon in their very own neighborhoods today.

In addition, players are now able to pre-register for Harry Potter: Wizards Unite - the forthcoming release from Portkey Games co-developed and co-published by WB Games San Francisco and Niantic, Inc. Simply head to the Galaxy Apps Store to sign up. Those who pre-register will receive a push notification reminder to install the game once it’s available, and can begin keeping the wizarding world safe from Muggle eyes by returning magical artefacts, beasts, and characters to their rightful place.
