As we prepare for the launch of Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, the upcoming title under the Portkey Games label, alongside our partners at WB Games San Francisco, we wanted to share details about an opportunity for existing Niantic users. From now until April 30th, Ingress Agents and Pokémon GO Trainers will have the ability to secure their Agent Name or Trainer Nickname to use in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.

To clarify, this is not an option to select an entirely new Code Name, but rather to secure your existing username. If you want to choose a different name for Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, you will need to wait until Harry Potter: Wizards Unite launches in your region.
