We hope your summers are going strong. It was incredible meeting so many of you during Pokémon GO Fest. We are excited to keep the fun going this August with a new set of Meet You Out There Meetups!

On Saturday, August 14 and Sunday, August 15, we are hosting Niantic Explorer Community Meet-ups in the following cities from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time:

• August 14

  • Boston, MA

  • Irvine, CA

  • Salt Lake City, UT

  • Washington, D.C.

• August 15

  • Chicago, IL

  • Nashville, TN

  • New York City, NY

Stop on by to hang out, pick up some swag, and take photos.

Niantic employees will be out and about across the country as well, keep in touch with your local community to see if a Niantic will be near you!  

Whilst on your Community Day adventure around the city, we would love our Explorers to also seek out and explore local businesses. Additionally, a handful of local,  small businesses in each of the above cities will be handing out giveaways (while supplies last) and make phone charging stations available for Trainers, and more! We love to support local businesses and hope you have a chance to stop by at any of the following locations:

  • Hero Coffee Bar

  • Watchtower Coffee & Comics

Are you an early riser? When you enter the business be sure to tell a sales associate  “MEET YOU OUT THERE” for a chance to get a limited-edition T-shirt. This will be for the first 10 explorers through the door. Fear not if you are not the first 10, there might be some surprises left.*

But wait, there’s more! In celebration of Niantic Supply opening its (virtual) doors we will have mobile pop up stores where you can pick up some Niantic merch in Washington, D.C. on August 14 and Chicago on August 15.

*T-shirts will be available at participating locations on a first-come, first served basis to the first 10 Explorers. Sticker sets and lapel pins will be available at participating locations while supplies last.
