Today we welcome Camille Francois to Niantic as our first Global Director of Trust & Safety.

We take seriously our responsibility to innovate in a way that respects the people using our services, as well as to society more broadly. Building responsibly, protecting user privacy, developing inclusively and recognizing the benefits while mitigating the potential impacts of AR technology all need to be considered now, not after the fact.

Camille will lead and scale Niantic’s Trust & Safety efforts to ensure people have a safe and fun experience with Niantic products. She will work with our Product, Engineering, Legal, Security and Design teams, and with our community of partners, players and developers.

Camille’s experience and leadership will help guide Niantic as we enter our next phase of growth. She joins us from Graphika, where she led the company’s work to mitigate online manipulation, working with Trust and Safety teams across Silicon Valley and with governments on both sides of the Atlantic.
