Pikmin Bloom’s latest version introduces new features to make your walks even more fun, help you meet your wellness goals and connect with friends and loved ones.

New Flower Planting Weekly Challenges

In April, Pikmin Bloom added Weekly Challenges, where people can embark on a walking challenge together - to walk a total of 20,000 or 100,000 steps between them. This helps people stay connected and see how much their friends are walking, even when they’re in different countries or continents. In fact, we’ve found that people using Pikmin Bloom on average walk about 10% more steps each day than the global average*, And we’re hoping this increases when people can challenge each other to walk together in Pikmin Bloom!

With today’s release, there’s a new kind of Weekly Challenge where the goal is focused on the number of flowers you can plant together. Now you can choose between these two types of challenges, or participate in both at the same time!

All players who join a challenge and complete it before July 24, 2022 will receive special outfits for their Mii avatar as rewards: an Explore T-shirt when they join and complete a step-based challenge before July 17, 2022 or a Flower T-shirt when they join and complete a flower planting challenge before July 24, 2022.

Invite your friends and loved ones to join in on Weekly Challenges

Looking for a way to reconnect your friends and family no matter the geographical distance between you? Want to dial up the fun with some friendly taunts within the family chat? With the new invite feature for Weekly Challenges, challenges now include an “invite” option that allows players to invite specific friends to join their challenges, making it easier to gather particular friend or family groups.
